Remote research

American Library offers a remote research service. If you are trying to find out more about 2nd Air Division personnel, an air base, a mission or a plane we may be able to help via email at americanlibrary@norfolk.gov.uk.

We also offer 30 minute research advice sessions on Zoom. These can be booked on the American Library EventBrite.

You can also access our Digital Archive online, which has over 30,000 images of original photographs, letters, memoirs and other documents. Explore our Digital Archive.

Online events

We host monthly coffee and conversation get togethers on Zoom for interested 2nd Air Division family and friends.

These are at 4pm UK time on the second Saturday of the month, and at other times to commemorate special events.

Please email us at americanlibrary@norfolk.gov.uk to be added to our invitation list for coffee and conversation.

Most of our events are now blended, meaning they are accessible to you wherever you are via Zoom. These include talks, workshops, and our Reading American Book Group. These are all on the American Library EventBrite.
