We're based at the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library in The Forum, Norwich.

Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library - Temporary Closure Information

From Monday 27 April until mid-July, the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library will be temporarily closed while they carry out an exciting refurbishment - the biggest upgrade since the library opened 25 years ago inside The Forum, Norwich.

During this closure, the American Library will still be open on a limited basis from 10am-5pm on Monday to Friday with Saturdays variable, and with no PC availability.

The American Library will be closed on Saturday 20 June for works to be completed as part of the refurbishment of the Millennium Library. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Access to the American Library will be via an alternate external entrance of The Forum: please ask staff, email us at [email protected] or call us on 01603 774747 for more information.

Opening times

  • 10am to 5pm Monday to Friday
  • 9am to 5pm on Saturday

The Forum is less than half a mile's walk from Norwich Bus Station and just under a mile from the railway station.

Car and cycle parking

Visiting veterans and families

If you're a veteran of the Second Air Division or a family member, contact us in advance of your visit to Norwich.  Please get in touch as early as possible.

We can help you to get the most from our historic collections while you are here.  We may also be able to put you in contact with former air bases.  Please note all of these are now private property.
